HVAC Test And Balance
Certified Test And Balance For All New HVAC Equipment
When new equipment is installed, professionals need to take measurements to ensure that everything is working according to design specifications.
As a certified HVAC contractor in South Florida, we service all types of commercial air conditioning systems. Servicing involves installation, repair, and replacement of equipment; emergency services; and preventative maintenance. For all installation services, it is essential that equipment is tested to ensure that everything is working the way it was designed to.
As a professional contractor, we provide NEBB-certified test and balance services through a third party provider. NEBB is the premier international certification association for firms that deliver high-performance building systems testing. Although we don’t perform the test and balance services ourselves, we hire and pay the contractor to streamline communication and make the process easier for you. With an independent third party certifying our work, you can be confident that we’ve done the job right.
After a system is installed, the third-party contractor measures all of the air flows and water flows (for chilled water systems). The contractor will document all findings and compare them against the design parameters. If necessary, the contractor will make adjustments for air balance or water flows to ensure that your new system is working correctly.
Most of the time, we will provide HVAC test and balance services for a new construction project or something with a set of new design plans. For example, if an architect wanted 250 cubic feet per minute of airflow coming out of all grills, a test and balance provider would measure and determine the airflow for all systems. The goal is for the airflow to be within 10% of the design specifications.
Whether you are building an entirely new facility, planning a building expansion, or redesigning your space, Garrison Mechanical has you covered. By providing test and balance services after installation, we give you peace of mind that your system will operate effectively and efficiently.
We care about helping you verify that your HVAC system was installed correctly and is working as it should.
Even after top-quality installation has been completed by our industry experts, the job doesn’t stop there. To be certain that the equipment in your commercial building is working properly, test and balance services must be performed. By ensuring that all air flow or water flow requirements are met as specified by the manufacturer, you can achieve efficiency and optimal comfort in your commercial building. Leave it to the experts at Garrison Mechanical to provide top-notch installations and third-party test and balance services.
